We pitched up at VWKampers in September knowing absolutely nothing about camper vans beyond the fact that we were desperate to own one! Colin wanted one for festivals - first stop Latitude - and I was desperate to indulge my Cath Kidston passion! As soon as we met Ian we realised we'd struck gold - even before we'd met Ruby, the beautiful old Westie we ended up buying. The guy's a legend. He is so knowledgeable, genuine and kind. On that first visit he was incredibly busy but he took time to induct us in "the ways"! Not in a hard sell way, at all - not an issue I would imagine as he's always so busy. No, rather in a these are two more people who need to share the dream with me, kind of way! 'Soon to be dad' Ant and 'let me fit those gorgeous Cath Kidston curtains for you' Dave have all played their part in the Ruby narrative. We love them all.

We can only endorse all the positive comments already made about Ian and VWkampers. Very professionally run organisation. No sales pitch,the vans sell themselves anyway, just very helpful and honest advice. We are so glad we didn't buy from anywhere else and are thrilled with Tallulah and can't wait for the Spring. Ian, the changes you have made to my Brazilian Camper are awesome. The power steering, new steering box and lowering have transformed it from a once in a while drive to a camp site to a weekly run around. Thanks also for the friendly service, I have used lots of specialists in the past due to an eclectic car history and you guys are up there.

Having always wanted a camper van - after extensive research we considered taking the plunge. Not being too mechanically minded we looked to avoid some of the potential potholes of buying an old vehicle, aiming to take minimum risk whilst making maximum investment for the family. Impressed with the website and VW Kampers ethos (spot-on!) we made an appointment to meet Ian and view the current stock. How refreshing it is to meet someone who has a business without compromising their passion! Through that initial meeting to collection of our 78 Westy we were immensely impressed with Ian and his staff’s professional, warm and honest approach, generosity in sound advice and experience, and the great work they undertook to give us the van we’ve always wanted. We can’t wait for the summer! Oh yes...and the look on your children’s face when they come home from school to see such a beautiful camper on the drive - priceless!!

We started our search for a camper in September 2011 and cannot thank Ian and his team for their time and invaluable advice.Ian helped us find our perfect camper and we picked her up on the Monday before Christmas.We can't wait for the warmer weather next year and family trips away.The van has exceeded our expectations.Thanks once again.

Hi Ian, We can't thank you enough for the camper we bought from you in June and picked up in August. It has changed our outlook on life and been a real breath of fresh air. I use it all the time for getting to and from work and the two of us have been on countless nights and weekends away. We are going to honeymoon in it next easter. The power steering is awesome.....a real bonus. It actually makes it lighter to drive than my old Peugeot 306 convertible.

Just by way of some feedback, we have been looking at vans for some time and your operation has really impressed us. A big thank you to Ian and the team for getting Bertie Pootle ready in time for our 2 week trip to France in August, and then helping sort out the few teething problems we had so quickly when we got back. Now looking forward to lots of trouble free camping in 2012!
