Just to add our gratitude and appreciation to the comments already here. We spent about 2 years longingly watching this site before taking the plunge and committing our savings to a VWKamper special and we are beyond thrilled that we did. Bertie the bus is absolutely a dream come true and the time and attention Ian gave to us as we went through all the details and sale was just fantastic. The workmanship, quality and attention to detail on Bertie is second to none and we too have been stopped at petrol stations and in car parks by highly approving fans..We refer them to you with much enthusiasm. Thank you so much to everyone at VWKampers for answering a lifelong wish with the most perfect example of an awesome van we could possibly imagine. We're just back from another heavenly weekend in Dorset and are looking forward to years of adventures to come... To any of you who have found this site and wonder whether you're in safe hands and should go for it or not.. the answer has to be O Absolutely, YES!

Ian, Ant, and the boys We know we should have sent this earlier but I guess better late than never. We just wanted to say thank you for looking after us and all the help you gave us with the purchase of our beloved 1974 Aussie VW Camper which we now call Rosie. We’re quite amazed at the level of customer support and the things you do for your customers which I think no other would do. I can see this is more a passion than a business and we are very grateful for the work and time you have spent on getting Rosie perfect for us. She has already had a day trip to the seaside where she got a lot of attention where people just come up to us and ask questions about her, you can’t even go to the petrol station without someone coming up to you and telling you what a beauty she is, which I found strange at first but somehow feel very proud that they do, as we became part of the VW Camper crew. And as new parents we want to show her off as much as possible. And as a suggestion it would be great if your website had a list of events / rally’s that us newbies and old hands for that matter could see for the year ahead so that we can show her off as much as possible. As what I would consider quite experienced Bus owners (2 splitties, 3 bays & a T5 to date!!), we had been looking on the VW Kampers website for some time, with the temptation being to spoil ourselves with a fully restored bay. We travel loads between London & Woolacombe in North Devon and for that reason, we really need a bus that is going to get us there and back and not want to take a rest on the M4/M5!! Having finally had a chat with Ian, we visited Ian's workshop back in early November and fell in love with the beautifully restored 1974 Westfalia Continental that was almost finished and looking fantastic in its new chianti red paint and original westfalia interior. I have to say, Ian's attention to detail with the restoration is second to none and the service we received all the way through the purchasing process was absolutely first class. If you are looking for a fully restored bus from a business you can trust, look no further, you have found it!! Thanks for everything Ian and enjoy your buses everyone, there's a long open road out there.......... and PS Happy Christmas all!!

At last I've found GREAT service and a very friendly team for looking after my pride and joy,the team at VWKampers are second to none.And I for one won't trust anyone else to work on my van. A big thank you to Ian and his team.

We picked up the new addition to our family on Saturday,a 1974 Westy now known as Florence. We cannot believe what a wonderful experience buying this camper from Ian has been. His advice and customer service is outstanding!! We have every confidence in the camper that we now own, We know that every detail has been checked and that Ian and his team would not of let it leave the building if it was not 100%. We had always dreamed of owning a split screen Camper but had remained very wary as neither us are mechanically minded. Then we saw the truly amazing '64 Samba Deluxe featured on this site (DAP 363B). A hasty visit to VW Kampers gave us the confidence we needed to take the plunge. Ian went above and beyond the call of duty to prepare the van for us, making last minute additions that really were the icing on the cake. More than that, I had my very own 'support vehicle' escort on the journey home (not that it was needed) and a visit the next morning from one of the team to make some final tweaks to the dashboard, prior to our first trip (350 miles to Devon and back and it went without a hitch!). Stunning vehicles, superb advice and amazing customer service. I don't see how anyone could better VW Kampers. Thank you for making our dream come true!

It's a tough decision parting with a heap of cash for a van that is older than I am. We were looking for a van that wasn't going to leave the children and I stranded, so we hunted high and low to find a company we believed cared as much about making the holidays fun filled and break down free as we did. Firstly we were impressed by the set up at VW Kampers, and then we fell in love with Freckle, our 79 Bay.... For me it's been great having the confidence in Ian and his team. He really does care about how our van preforms, and takes any concerns or issues extremely seriously. It's not just what the guys at VW Kampers do.... it's the way they do it. I feel confident that have got many years of family fun and friendly festivals ahead in Freckle. If there is an ounce of you that is considering investment in a van, in my opinion you would be a fool to not consider having a chat with Ian and his team. Thanks Guys
